Expert's Dexterity Disruptor
R/A: Expert's Dexterity Disruptor
Skills:
- Golden Lotus Strike
- Disrupting Stab
- Exhausting Assault
- [Optional]
- Lightning Reflexes
- Expert's Dexterity {E}
- Recall
- Resurrection Signet
Suggested Optionals:
- Augury of Death
- Impale
- Iron Palm
- Disrupting Dagger
- Siphon Speed
- Shadow Refuge
- Unseen Fury
- Dash
- Antidote Signet
- Throw Dirt
- Whirling Defense
Equipment:
- +3 to Expertise
- Zealous Daggers (not sure if these are needed)
- Health Runes
Simple build. Place Recall on an ally. This will serve as your anti-spike/damage as well as your enchantment for Golden Lotus. Maintain Expert's Dexterity at all times and just spam: Disrupting, Exhausting, Lotus, Exhausting, Disrupting, etc.
The optional skill is best used as one of three things: A Snare, a Deep Wound, or a Heal. I listed the best options I found so take your pic. I used Throw Dirt while I was in RA testing this build out.
Weaknesses:
- Anything Anti-Melee
- No strong self healing
- Enchantment Shattering (no energy)
- Low/Medium Damage Output
Strengths:
- Ranger Primary, therefore, godmode
- Constant interuptions against ANY skill, not just spells
- Exhaustion shutdown, even against elementalists
I made four people ragequit in one hour of RA today. Have fun. :]

Nice use of a skill that would normally end up on the attic. Something similar was given in the talk page of [wiki]Expert's Dexterity[/wiki]

Agreed. If you didn't know about it, then chalk one up for Kaida The Heartless.

You can't realy spam those big dmg skills since Experts dexterity rises the energy cost by 1,5 times, so even 5 energy skills would cost at least 12 energy without expertise (4 with 16 expertise)...
The only good way to use the Expert's dexterity is to use it with the golden lotus strike for the energy management (since energizing wind dosn't affect the energy cost). It would also work if you were able to take many elemental dmg hits while using storm chaser.
Honestly expert's dexterity is fun little skill but almost useless...
Here's a lil build that i invented on my free time. It works but it has more cons than pros so it's not a good idea to run this build at any "serious" place
Name: Bladed Spinning wheel
expertise: 16
scythe mastery: 12
Weapon should be zealous scythe with 15^50 mod, and try to get as much energy as you can get from your armor!
Skills:[skill]eremite's attack[/skill][skill]mystic sweep[/skill][skill]zealous renewal[/skill][skill]expert's dexterity[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]
Rest are optional, but i suggest enchantments to boost mystic sweep's dmg...
Usage: use expert's dex, then zealous and start spamming eremite's attack and mystic sweep as long as you can with incredible speed!
Pros: It's fun! for a while... wiii! look at those numbers popping out from the enemies!
And then... cons: Energy hevy, no self heal, no snare, no condition removal, everyone laughs at you, miss block and hexes = bye bye energy...
And about Kaida's build: I have also tried a build similar to this. It's fun lil build Not a real DMG maker, but a major annoyance for the target. ^^
(now why did write this again... -.-)

The damage does suck for the most part. I have managed to kill several monks solo, simply because all of their skills were a 1/2er or greater, which is always a great laugh. I've even made several people rage, which always makes my day.
I also tried a variant that used Blades of Steel to just spam alot of damage but it really wasn't that much pressure for the hassle. A cripslash or the like could match it no prob.

Use Golden Lotus Strike -> Wild Strike -> Horns of the Ox to do a knockdown every 4 seconds and some decent damage.

I seem to remember a very good Blades of Steel build from old Guild Wiki... perhaps I'll Google for an archived copy later and post it. I remember thinking to myself, "Wow. I can't believe more people aren't using this skill."
